Château de Savennes is situated in the beautiful volcany mountainside of the Puy de Dome. There are numerous routes which can be explored by foot.

By bike the region is interesting as well. The hills will surely offer a good workout ! On a mountainbike (VTT) you can find some great routes here.  

If you have the opportunity, the region is ideal for motorcycles. The Auvergne will definately make your blood flow faster on a bike !
